  • Buffet and Tequila and Mezcal Tasting for 1 Chaine member. One guest dinner may be added for each Chaîne member registering.
  • Buffet Dinner and Tequila Tasting for 1 local Chaine member. One guest dinner may be added for each member registering.
  • Buffet Dinner and Tequila and Mezcal Tasting for 1 non-member. Additional dinners may be added as guests to the primary registration.

Experience the bold flavors of Mexico at Red Iguana with our Tequila and Mezcal tasting and buffet dinner. We’ll savor the distinctive smoky and earthy notes of these traditional Mexican spirits as Jimmy Santangelo of the Wine Academy of Utah takes us on a guided tasting. Our tasting includes a variety of tequilas and mezcals, each with its own unique flavor profile, allowing you to discover new possibilities and expand your palate. Included in the evening are Tequila and Mezcal based cocktails, Cerveza and a grand Mexican buffet. ¡Vamos!

Appetizers

Fresh Guacamole with House Totopos - Avocado blended w/tomatoes, onions, Serranos and cilantro

Chile con Queso with House Totopos - Anaheim chilies, fresh jalapeños, onions & tomatoes blended with cheese

Hongos al Ajillo - Mushrooms sautéed with garlic, butter, white wine and crushed chile

Camarones en Mole Amarillo - Tiger prawns in a sweet, savory & spicy mole sauce

Entrees 

Fajitas - Choice of Tender Chicken or Seasoned Vegetables, grilled with sliced tomatoes, onions, red, yellow and green bell peppers accompanied by fresh guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and queso cotija

Puntas a la Nortena - Top sirloin tips sautéed w/bacon, fresh jalapeño and chile guero strips, onions & fresh tomatoes, served atop our almond mole (almonds, chile guajillo, chile guero, yellow zucchini, milk and peanut butter all blended together with herbs and spices)

Mole Verde - Mixed Vegetables or traditional Pavo (turkey), fresh chile Poblano, chile Guero & Jalapeño blended with pepitas, sesame seeds, basil, onions, zucchini, avocados & fresh greens; a Red Iguana favorite.

Desserts

Tres Leches - A light vanilla cake soaked in a blend of three different milks. Adorned with whipped cream and seasonal berries.

Flan - luscious blend of eggs, sugar, and milk, topped with a deliciously caramelized sugar
