Champagne Brunch and Sabrage Demonstration

Chaîne SLC presents a virtual educational event in support of the Utah Food Bank. All proceeds from the November and December events will be presented to the Utah Food Bank. Members are encouraged to invite their friends and family to join this event.

A sabrage demonstration will start out the event. If you have a sabre, join in the fun! Then a presentation of the sparkling wines, history, grapes, cuvées and terroirs of the Champagne AOC will be given by Vice Échanson Kasey Dubler. Other sparkling wines will also be reviewed. Champagne is a very flexible wine, it pairs surprisingly well with so many foods and of course celebrations. 

We will be sharing some of the member's favorite Brunch recipes to make in advance of the event. Some of the favorites include Quiche Lorraine, Croque Madame with an arugula side salad and dijon vinaigrette, among others.

A list of suggested sparkling wines for purchase: (Individual wines will not be reviewed specifically. You may choose to buy one or more from this list. You may also bring a bottle from your collection)
