In 1976, a group of passionate gourmands gathered for the very first dinner of the Salt Lake City Bailliage of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. That evening marked the beginning of five decades of culinary fellowship, extraordinary wines, and unforgettable tables shared among friends.

In June 2026, we will gather to celebrate 50 years of the Salt Lake City Bailliage with a truly historic evening.

Members and guests are invited to a Golden Anniversary Gala and Chapitre Celebration to be held in the magnificent and historic Salt Lake Masonic Temple.

For this singular occasion, the evening’s menu will recreate the dinner served at the very first Salt Lake City Bailliage event in 1976, honoring the origins of our Bailliage and the traditions that have guided it for half a century.

The wine program will commemorate another legendary milestone in wine history: the 50th anniversary of the Judgment of Paris. Throughout the evening, guests will participate in blind tastings inspired by the event that changed the course of the wine world, inviting us to revisit one of the most famous tastings ever held.

The evening will feature:

• A formal Black Tie evening
• A Golden Anniversary Gala Dinner
• Blind tastings honoring the Judgment of Paris
• A Chapitre and Induction Ceremony
• A celebration of 50 years of friendship, gastronomy, and fine wine
